ORLANDO, Fla. (January 21, 2019) – Orlando Central, a 46-acre executive office park owned by real estate investment management group Grover Corlew, was named Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) in the suburban office low rise category by the Building owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Orlando. Grover Corlew is a Florida-based group focused on acquiring, developing and operating office, retail and multi-family properties across the Southeastern U.S. “This award is a tribute to our team that has worked diligently on this landmark office park transforming it into one of the signature properties in our portfolio,” said Partner Anuj Grover. “Since purchasing Orlando Central in late 2016, we have upgraded and enhanced the building interiors, offering tenants exceptional office environments at a great value and in a prime central location.”
During the recent awards ceremony, Orlando Central also received honorable mention recognition in the “Best of the Best” category. In order to be considered for a TOBY Award, buildings must undergo rigorous inspection and surpass certain standards of building maintenance and management. Entrants must describe how the building management’s efforts have positively impacted the community from providing jobs to enhancing the community’s appearance. Tenant communications, energy conservation and building operations and maintenance are all evaluated when selecting the winners.
“Our objective when we purchase an existing property is to elevate it from undervalued to a Class-A quality environment that meets the needs of today’s modern workforce,” said Partner Mar1< Corlew. “With 21 buildings located in a scenic and central environment, high-value custom buildouts and professional management, Orlando Central is now attracting diverse, established businesses and long-term tenants to the area.”
Florida-based Grover Corlew was also the Royal Flush sponsor of the evening’s festivities where Grover and Corlew also co-emceed the event.
