A passionate leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, Anuj Grover has been actively acquiring and developing real estate for more than two decades. In fact, you might say that it’s in his DNA. “Some of my fondest memories of my childhood are sitting on my dad’s lap learning about investing,” he says. “He was the quintessential immigrant at that time, always saving money. But he was also smart and invested his savings in stocks, land and even an office condo. He was the first to introduce me to the term ‘raw land.’”
Anuj co-founded Grover Corlew which has established a reputation for high quality real estate acquisitions and development. Throughout the southeastern U.S. Grover Corlew has amassed more than 2.5 million sq. ft. of office, medical office and retail properties, along with thousands of multifamily units with a combined value of $750 million.
Anuj began his career in Atlanta as a certified public accountant (CPA) in the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young and subsequently practiced as an attorney in the preeminent international law firm, King & Spalding. In the 1990s Anuj transitioned into the corporate world where he held high-profile positions at several venture-backed companies, including the roles Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and General Counsel. Anuj’s involvement with two of these enterprises led to the successful exit of each venture with an aggregate valuation of approximately $400 million. One of the other enterprises where Anuj played a senior executive role is now publicly traded with a market cap greater than $10 billion.
A member in NAIOP South Florida and Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA), Anuj actively participates in community development initiatives in Florida. He holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from University of Florida.
