POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (August 27, 2018) – Grover Corlew’s Pompano Beach-based office properties joined together this summer to collect school supplies for the Broward Education Foundation’s Annual Back to School Drive.
Tenants from the Chase and Bank of America buildings on Atlantic Boulevard and Pompano Medical on N.E. 26 Ave. donated much needed school supplies including backpacks, pens, paper, crayons, folders and more for students and teachers at Title I schools.
“All students should start off the school year with ~mat they need to be successful,D said Partner Mark Corlew. It’s important for teachers and students, particularly in Title I schools, to have the basics that will enhance learning in the classroom. Teachers can spend upwards of $500 out of their own pocket to fill their classrooms with needed supplies.”
All donated school supplies are available to teachers of Broward County Title I schools who can shop for their students free of charge at Broward Education Foundation’s Tools for Schools, a year-round resource center located at 2300 West Copans Road in Pompano Beach.
Added Partner Anuj Grover, “As parents of school-age kids, Mark and I understand the importance of building a solid foundation for lifelong learning and success and that starts with being fully prepared from day one with the supplies they need. We are happy to support such a great cause to help the teachers and students in our community.”
