Grover Corlew Signs Four New Leases In Fort Pierce

Renovated Fort Pierce Shoppes retail center renamed Linkside Shoppes

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (August 30, 2014) – Holland G&C Ft. Pierce, LLC, a Florida-based development team and joint venture led by Grover Corlew of Florida, LLC, today announced the signing of four new leases at Linkside Shoppes, formally Fort Pierce Shoppes:

West Marine, the world’s largest water life outfitter, signed a lease for 15,000 sq. ft., doubling the size of its previous location. The store features a fishing and bait shack, marine electronics, men’s and women’s apparel, footwear and accessories from top nautical brands, inflatable boats, kayaks and a variety of stand-up paddleboards.

Hibbetts Sports signed a lease for 5,000 sq. ft., bringing the latest in footwear technology to both the active and casual athlete and also features all equipment needed for team sports.

Mattress Firm also signed a lease for 5,000 sq. ft. for a showroom featuring a wide selection of quality, brand-name mattresses, beds and bedding products at competitive prices.

Franchised sandwich restaurant chain Jimmy Johns signed a lease for 1,403 sq. ft. of space.

Grover Corlew recently completed a $2 million renovation of the 43,328 sq.-ft. Linkside Shoppes retail plaza located at U.S. 1 and Ohio Avenue in Fort Pierce. Renovations included a new modern façade, fresh landscaping and redesigned parking areas.

“Linkside Shoppes is in a high traffic area and conveniently located to downtown and the Barrier Islands making it a prime retail center,” said Grover Corlew Partner Anuj Grover. “We continue to attract national brands, which is great news for the surrounding communities.”

Also located in Linkside Shoppes is Pizza Hut and WellMed, a Texas-based health-care chain.
